The Aquarius pigment system consists of 15 concentrated mixing colors that can be used with Aquarius water-based bases, helping simplify ink inventory while providing the flexibility needed for custom color formulation. The pigments are integrated with the Aquarius Ink Management System (IMS), which provides formulas for matching Pantone® colors and approved brand colors.
This pigment concentrate is intended to be mixed into an appropriate Aquarius base and is not designed to be printed as a standalone ink. Aquarius Water Base Red Mixing Pigment Concentrate is designed to be incorporated into an appropriate Zodiac™ Aquarius™ water-based printing base. The selected base determines the finished ink's printing characteristics, opacity, hand, substrate compatibility, and curing requirements.
Other Aquarius pigment concentrates may be combined with Red B to develop custom colors according to the desired Aquarius IMS formulation. Any additional modifiers or additives should be used according to the recommendations for the specific Aquarius printing base.
- Stir the Red Mixing Pigment Concentrate thoroughly before use.
