The automatic coating system can coat both sides of the screen mesh simultaneously or coat a single side depending on the selected coating program. Operators can independently program up to 10 coating passes on the squeegee side and up to 10 passes on the print side, providing flexibility for different mesh counts, emulsions, stencil thicknesses, and printing applications.
Adjustable coating speed allows operators to further control emulsion deposit and fine-tune stencil EOM. Grünig specifies a coating speed range of approximately 15–65 mm/sec, along with programmable flow time and adjustable frame profile height.
By controlling coating parameters mechanically instead of relying on individual operator technique, the G-Coat 406s delivers highly reproducible stencil thickness. - Make sure the screen frame is properly positioned and securely seated in the screen holders before beginning a coating cycle.
- Select coating parameters according to the emulsion, mesh count, desired stencil thickness, and printing application.
- Program the desired number of coating passes independently for the squeegee and print sides.
