SKU BP-TPSP+-R-92-44-328

Premium 92gsm heavy-tack dye sublimation transfer paper engineered for sportswear, activewear, and polyester fabrics, providing thermal-activated adhesion that helps control fabric movement and reduce ghosting during heat transfer.

Characteristics

Beaver Paper TexPrint Sports+ 92gsm is a heavy thermal adhesive dye sublimation transfer paper specifically engineered for apparel and textile applications where fabric movement during heat transfer can affect print quality. Its heavy-tack formulation provides stronger adhesion for fabrics and finishes that require more aggressive holding power during the sublimation process.

The specially coated surface activates during heat transfer, helping the printed transfer remain securely positioned against the fabric. This reduces movement that can cause ghosting, blurring, and loss of image definition, making TexPrint Sports+ especially useful for sportswear, activewear, cut-and-sew production, and other polyester textile applications.

The 92gsm base provides a balance of stability and efficient handling through production equipment, including calendar heat presses. Its uniform coated print surface offers high ink capacity while maintaining sharp image definition and consistent color reproduction, even when printing graphics with heavier ink loads.

TexPrint Sports+ is designed to lay and print flat while resisting cockling under demanding ink loads. Its construction also promotes efficient heat migration through the transfer sheet, supporting productive transfer speeds while delivering strong color yield onto compatible polyester fabrics.

This roll measures 44" wide x 328' long and is supplied on a 3" core, making it well suited for wide-format dye sublimation printers and production environments requiring consistent, high-quality textile transfers.

Usage Tips
  • Print on the coated side of the transfer paper using compatible dye sublimation ink.
  • Allow printed transfers to dry sufficiently before beginning the heat transfer process.
  • Position the printed transfer against the polyester fabric before applying heat.
  • The thermal adhesive activates during heat pressing and helps keep the transfer and fabric securely aligned.
  • Use the heavy-tack Sports+ version when working with fabrics or finishes that are prone to movement, shrinkage, or ghosting during transfer.
  • For roll-to-roll production, confirm proper paper tension and alignment before beginning longer production runs.
  • Always determine the appropriate temperature, dwell time, and pressure for the specific fabric, ink, printer, and heat press being used.
  • Test new fabrics and production settings before beginning a full production run.
