Water-resistant inkjet film engineered for producing high-density screen printing positives, negatives, and color separations with excellent clarity, fast drying, and consistent output.

Characteristics

Chromaline AccuJet Inkjet Film is an economical, professional-quality inkjet film designed for producing film positives and negatives used in screen printing stencil exposure. It provides the clarity, density, and consistency needed to accurately transfer artwork from an inkjet printer to an exposed screen.

AccuJet features a specially designed ink-receptive coating that accepts both pigment- and dye-based water-based inkjet inks. The coated surface promotes fast drying while supporting dense black image areas and clean image definition, helping reduce the risk of smearing or damaging artwork during handling.

Designed for screen printing applications, AccuJet can be used for standard film positives, negatives, multi-color separations, 4-color process separations, detailed artwork, halftones, line work, and display graphics.

AccuJet delivers excellent density and clarity, with a DMAX of up to 4.0 and a DMIN of 0.12. These characteristics help provide strong UV blocking in printed image areas while maintaining clarity in transparent areas for accurate stencil exposure.

The film is water resistant, making it more durable during normal screen-room handling than conventional untreated transparency media. Properly handled film positives can also be stored and reused for repeat screen exposures.

For optimum film density, AccuJet can be paired with Chromaline AccuInk UV-blocking black ink. Compatible RIP software such as FilmMaker can further improve output by controlling ink deposition and helping produce dense, accurate film separations.

AccuJet is available in both sheets and rolls to accommodate desktop and wide-format inkjet printing workflows. Sheet film is packaged 100 sheets per box, while current roll formats use 2-inch cores.

Chromaline AccuJet Inkjet Film is manufactured in the USA and provides screen printers with an economical film-output solution backed by Chromaline's screen-making and inkjet-film expertise.

Usage Tips
  • Always print on the coated side of AccuJet film.
  • The coated side has a slightly matte appearance compared with the polyester side.
  • On AccuJet rolls, the coated printing surface is located on the outside of the roll.
  • If unsure which side is coated, lightly wet a fingertip and touch the film; the coated side will feel tacky and cause the finger to stick slightly.
  • Use AccuJet exclusively with compatible water-based inkjet printers.
  • Do not use AccuJet in laser printers.
  • Adjust printer and RIP settings to achieve sufficient ink deposit and image density for screen exposure.
  • For maximum film density, pair AccuJet with Chromaline AccuInk.
  • RIP software such as FilmMaker can help maximize image quality and ink deposition when producing film positives.
  • Allow printed films to dry completely before stacking or exposing screens.
  • Keep unused film clean and protected from dust, moisture, fingerprints, and other contaminants.
  • Store completed film positives in a clean, dry environment when they will be reused.
  • Interleaf stored positives with clean newsprint or similar protective material to help prevent scratching and damage.
