Characteristics
Siser® Glitter 20" Heat Transfer Vinyl is a specialty HTV designed to add brilliant sparkle, texture, and dimension to custom apparel and fabric decoration. Its glitter-filled surface produces a highly visible finish that makes lettering, numbers, logos, and decorative graphics stand out.
Siser Glitter is well suited for fashion apparel, spirit wear, team uniforms, dancewear, cheer apparel, personalized garments, and other designs where extra shine is desired. The material can be cut with compatible vinyl cutters and weeded before being applied with a professional heat press.
The 20-inch width is ideal for production environments and larger-format cutters, providing additional material width for larger graphics and efficient gang layouts.

- Preheat the garment briefly before application to help remove moisture and wrinkles.
- Position the weeded design on the garment with the carrier facing upward.
- Apply using a heat press capable of providing even temperature and consistent pressure across the entire design.
- Always perform a test application when working with unfamiliar garments, coatings, or heat-sensitive fabrics.
- Place the material glitter side down on the cutting mat or feed it into the cutter with the carrier against the cutting surface.
- Mirror the artwork before cutting.
- Because Glitter is thicker than standard HTV, blade depth and cutting force may need to be increased.
- Use a 45° or 60° blade depending on the cutter and material condition.
- Perform a test cut before production to ensure the vinyl layer is completely cut without cutting through the carrier.
- Weed away unwanted material after cutting, leaving the finished design attached to the pressure-sensitive carrier sheet.
- Preheat the garment briefly before application to help remove moisture and wrinkles.
