Rutland EL9760 Super Poly Plus White - 1 Gallon
Premium non-phthalate, low-bleed white plastisol ink engineered for 100% polyester and polyester blends, delivering exceptional dye-migration resistance, high opacity, excellent coverage, and fast production printability.
Characteristics
Rutland EL9760 Super Poly Plus White is a premium, press-ready white plastisol ink specifically formulated for printing on 100% polyester and polyester-blended fabrics. It carries Rutland's highest bleed-resistance rating for polyester white ink, making it especially suited for garments where dye migration is a major concern.
EL9760 combines excellent opacity and coverage with fast shearing characteristics for smooth printing at production speeds. Its production-friendly print characteristics make it suitable for both manual and automatic screen printing presses, whether used as a stand-alone white or as an underbase beneath additional colors.
The formulation is designed to maintain strong opacity on polyester while helping control dye migration caused by heat during curing. EL9760 delivers excellent performance in opacity, bleed resistance, fiber mat-down, flash performance, hand, and stretch for demanding polyester printing applications.
For polyester fabrics with particularly aggressive or unstable dyes, a compatible barrier base can be printed underneath EL9760 for additional protection against dye migration. Because EL9760 is specifically formulated as a low-bleed polyester ink, it should not be used on 100% cotton where ghosting may occur.

- Standard-cure plastisol formulation
- Non-phthalate formulation
- Ideal for professional, high-volume textile screen printing
- Use consistent, properly tensioned screen mesh to maintain a uniform ink deposit and maximize print quality.
- Use a 70 or 80 durometer square-profile squeegee with a sharp printing edge.
- A recommended starting point is 2 print strokes at medium speed.
- Recommended mesh range is approximately 86–156 threads per inch (34–61 threads/cm).
- Maintain approximately 25 N/cm mesh tension for consistent screen release.
- Maintain a sufficient ink deposit on polyester to help improve film strength, opacity, and bleed resistance.
- Flash at approximately 140–150°F (60–65°C) on preheated pallets.
- Flash only long enough to gel the ink surface before applying subsequent colors.
- Ensure the entire ink film reaches 320°F (160°C) for proper cure.
- Avoid excessive curing temperatures or unnecessary dryer dwell time because excessive heat can encourage polyester dyes to migrate into the printed ink.
- Always test questionable polyester garments before beginning production.
- For severe dye migration, print an appropriate compatible barrier base beneath EL9760.

Rutland EL9760 Super Poly Plus White is specifically formulated for 100% polyester and polyester-blended fabrics. It provides Rutland's highest bleed-resistance rating for polyester white applications and is designed for garments where controlling dye migration is critical.
Dye stability varies considerably between polyester fabrics. Poorly dyed or highly migratory polyester can overwhelm even high-performance low-bleed inks, so always test the specific garment before beginning production.
For fabrics with severe or aggressive dye migration, use an appropriate Rutland barrier base underneath EL9760 to provide additional protection.
Avoid excessive heat during flashing and curing. Excessive temperature or unnecessary dryer dwell time can promote dye migration from polyester fibers into the printed ink.
The complete ink film must reach approximately 320°F (160°C) for proper cure. Verify the temperature reached throughout the complete ink deposit under actual production conditions rather than relying solely on dryer settings.
Do not use EL9760 on 100% cotton garments. Because this product uses low-bleed chemistry specifically engineered for polyester, ghost images may occur when printed on cotton.
Always test the complete ink and garment combination for opacity, bleed resistance, adhesion, cure, wash durability, and dye migration before beginning a full production run.
